The Second Annual Victims’ Rights Activity Fair was held on Saturday, April 26, 2008 at the Upper Valley Mall. The event was to call attention to April's designation as Child Abuse Prevention Month and the week of April 13-19 as National Crime Victims Rights Week. The goal was to present resources for crime victims in a fun way, not stigmatized.

Participating agencies had booths with agency resource information, services for crime victims and a fun, family-centered activity to engage and educate attendees. Entertainment, food, and door prizes, including two $100 gift certificates, were available to participants.

Sponsors of the event included B. Dalton Bookstore, Bradfield's Restaurant, Chakeres' Theaters, Claire's Boutique, Pam Stevens (Mary Kay Cosmetics), Master Cuts, Olive Garden, Papa Murphy's, Security National Bank, Texas Roadhouse, The Barn, Wet Your Whiskers, Dayton Dragons Baseball Team, Fricker's, Game Stop and Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken.

	Teresa Ehalt of Bridge of Hope. They prevent homelessness for women and children with the help of trained mentoring groups within congregations in the area.
