| My name is EmmyRae Watson, I am 14 years old and I am a freshman at Shawnee High School. I am a member at St. Johns Lutheran Church. I have performed in dance recitals and such when I was extremely young, maybe about 5-7 years old. And when i was on stage, I just felt like I want to do this all of the time. |

Then it was when I started looking up at all the pop stars and everything that I would just try to sing and see how it goes and it turns out I loved it more than anything in the world. I started singing all of the time and people said that I was a really good singer so I just went for it and started trying to pursue it at age 10. |
| I have been singing in so many places and just trying to get heard, but even though nothing has come of it yet, I just enjoy being on stage and entertaining people and that's what I realized I love to do. The artists that have influenced me the most are Hilary Duff, Christina Aguilera, Carrie Underwood, Martina McBride, Danity Kane, and many more. |

My family is supporting me all of the way with this too and I am very greatful. My dad Brian, my mom Maggie, my sister Katie, my grandma and grandpa nevius, my cousins Mary, Beth, Amy, and Christie, and all of my friends are there too. |
| I finally realized that I really wouldn't have a life without singing because I feel that it is my calling and people love to hear me and I love to show them. I have been inspired by so many people telling me not to give up and everything, and it made me realize that singing is my passion and I wouldn't trade it for the world. |
