| My name is Mark Miller. I grew up in a musical family of singers and musicians and have loved music for as long as I can remember. I was born and raised in Urbana and graduated from here in 1995. |

I briefly attended the University of Cincinnati after which I enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. I served a tour of duty in Iraq in 2003 and was recently discharged from service in 2006. |
| I recorded a 10 track demo CD in 2002 called Original Harmony, on which I did all the writing, production, lead and background vocals, but never released it, but I do continue to write songs for myself and others. |

I have competed in the “John Lennon Songwriter’s Contest” and have performed with a local band, “Force of Nature” as well as several open mic nights around the area. Currently I am attending Urbana University pursuing a degree in Business Management, with which I hope to start my own music label so that artists from somewhere other than New York, Chicago, Atlanta or California can get in the door. |
