my name is Brittney Miesse. I am a 15 years old sophomore in high school. My favorite subject this year is Bible Doctrines. My aspiration is to sing for God for the rest of my life. My first solo performance was when I four years old and I sang at church. Since then I sing whenever and wherever I get the opportunity.
I have sang at various churches, the Greene County fair, Clifton days, a wedding, and a 50th anniversary party to name a few. Fall of 2006 I began taking voice lessons from Jason Naill, our music director plus choir director at our church. He knows his stuff! I was in the Springfield Children's Chorus for 4 years under the direction of Lydia Smith.
I have taken piano lessons from Debbie Dustin for several years and I participate in O.F.M.C. and Piano Guild along with recitals. For the past two years I have sang for the Top-Flight Teens competition. Spring of 2007 I won first place Jr. Female vocalist - Contemporary. I have lots of interest. I love animals!
There are lots of animals at our house (i.e., cows, rabbits, cats, fish and a dog). I have been in 4H since I was 8 years old. I started out with a dog project. In 6th grade my dad got me my first dairy feeder. In 7th grade I showed dairy feeders and a goat project. For the past 2 years I have shown dairy projects. Next year I would like to add photography to the dairy feeders.
Things that I like to do: sing, snow ski, roller skate, jet skiing, go on outings with my youth group, traveling, vacation with my family, 4H, music, go sledding and tubing, did I mention singing?
Things that I would like to do: become a professional musician, make a vocal CD, Spelunking (cave exploration), whitewater rafting, water skiing, rock climbing for real … not on a climbing wall, go to Mount Rushmore, write books, poems, etc.
