Gene closed the 2008 Clark County Fair with a performance on Friday, July 25, 2008.

Gene is a Springfield native, and still lives in town with his wife Jennifer and four children.

Gene and his StoneHart Band (named in honor of his father, Little Donnie Bowshier, who is best known for his song Stoneheart) are always well received every time they perform in the area.
