2007 South Vienna Corn Festival

The South Vienna Corn Festival was September 7 - 9, 2007.

We attended Friday evening, opening day. Did we see you there?

We entered from the West - and the first thing we saw was food! Ain't America Great?!
The Odd Fellows were selling Corn (imagine that - at a Corn Festival) to raise money for their community service projects.
And what's a festival without the legendary Pork Producers Pork Chops?

Wash it all down with drinks from the Harmony Township Fire Department...

And top it off with ice cream from the United Church of South Vienna.

Then into the merchant tents where many local merchants offered their products for sale.

The Pleasant Community Church of God booth - offering craft items and baked goods
This booth was offering varied items to raise funds for Darrin, a child who suffered brain damage as a result of a car accident.

The Kiwanis Club offered popcorn

The Plattsburg Church offered crafted items.
About this time, we heard music playing, so we checked out the band - Bullet Proof, from Xenia.
They had people dancing in the aisles.
