123.01 LAW DIRECTOR; DUTIES.
The Law Director is the City's attorney and counselor at law. The Law Director shall provide legal representation and advice to the City and perform such other duties as required by City Charter or ordinance.

123.02 DEPARTMENT ESTABLISHED.
The Department of Law is established by City Charter. The Department consists of the Law Director and such other attorneys and employees as are appointed. The Department shall assist the Law Director to represent and advise the City in all civil, criminal and administrative law matters; prosecute criminal cases in the Clark County Municipal Court; and perform such other duties as required by City Charter or ordinance.

123.03 CIVIL LAW DIVISION.
a Civil Law Division of the Department of Law is hereby established. The Civil Law Division shall represent and advise the City in all civil and administrative law matters.

123.04 CRIMINAL LAW DIVISION.
A Criminal Law Division of the Department of Law is hereby established. The Criminal Law Division shall prosecute criminal cases in the Clark County Municipal Court and represent and advise the City in all criminal law matters.
