Ramon A. Denlinger, age 82, of Greenville’s Brethren Retirement Community passed away Sunday, November 29, 2009. He was born July 12, 1927 to Paul & Emma (Flory) Denlinger. He chose Esther Catherine Landis as his lifetime companion and they were married on July 27, 1947. She preceded him in death on September 5, 2009. Ramon was a long time employee of Allied Services, Inc., Clayton and later was employed by Dalo Construction, Inc., Tipp City, retiring in 1999. He was a member of the Old German Baptist Brethren fellowship.
Survived by three sons, Roland (Janet) of West Alexandria, Lowell (Diana) of Tipp City, and Randy (Paula) of Ellensburg, WA; two daughters, Barbara (Calvin) Boyd of Sonora, CA and Leann (Norman) Trochelman of Brookville; fourteen grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; sisters, Norma (John) Fisher of Covington and Faye (Paul) Garber of New Madison; brothers, Eldon (Phyllis) of Clayton, Bill (Doris) of Clayton, Floyd (Edna) of Brookville, Merlin (Sherry) of Modesto, CA and Don (Shirley) of Clayton; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, David & Loveda Balsbaugh of Brookville.
He was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Helen Denlinger and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Lloyd & Lois Denlinger.
Visitation will be 3-5 & 6-8 p.m. Tuesday December 1, 2009 at the Maple Grove Old German Baptist Brethren Church, 7524 Agenbroad Rd., New Carlisle, Ohio.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday December 2, 2009 at the church with burial following in the church cemetery.
