Marlin O. Rower

Marlin 'Mo' O. Rower, 88, of Springfield passed away Wednesday morning, December 2, 2009 in his residence. He was born November 22, 1921 in Lima, Ohio, the son of Lawrence and Olive (West) Rower. Mo was a Photoengraver and worked many years at the Crowell-Collier Publishing Company, Springfield Gravuer and retired from the Southern Gravuer of Louisville, Kentucky.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 66 years, Betty (LeFever) Rower; three sons and two daughters-in-law, John Rower of Pennsylvania, James and Vickie Rower of Springfield and David and Sarah Rower of Kettering, Ohio; one brother, Raymond Rower of Minnesota; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Harold Rower.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2009 from 9:30-11:00 am in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME.

Funeral services will start at 11:00 am in the funeral home with Pastor Thomas Martin officiating.

Burial will follow in the Ferncliff Cemetery.
