Mary Kathleen Downard, 81, of Enon passed away Sunday, June 29, 2008 in Springfield.

She was born September 14, 1926 in Cainsville, Missouri to the late Donald L. and Opal H. Barritt.

Kathleen attended Enon United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her son; Jimmy L. Downard of Enon, a grandson; Jimmy L. Downard II of Athens, two sisters; Virginia George and Irene Higginbotham, and many dear friends.

Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William Wilbur Downard whom she married in 1948, and a son, William Downard.

Funeral service will be held 10:00 am Thursday, July 3, 2008 in Adkins Funeral Home, 7055 Dayton-Springfield Road, Enon, Ohio. Burial will follow the service in Enon Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
