Mary Kathleen Dinwoody, 82, of New Carlisle, Ohio passed away Sunday August 24, 2008. She was born November 19, 1925 in Marion, Kentucky the daughter of the late Martin & Mary (Robinson) Spalding.

She is survived by a son, James E. Dinwoody, Jr. of New Carlisle, Wanda Jones of Vandalia, Ohio, Patricia & Kevin Walker of LaGrange, Kentucky, Linda & Howard Mercer of Dayton, Ohio, Tammy & Randy Disney of Vandalia; seven grandchildren; Cara & Rob Thompson, Amy & Marc Fisher, Stephanie Walker, Mark Mercer, Scott Walker, Matthew Mercer, Nicholas Disney; three great grandchildren; a sister, Winifred Denny of Xenia, Ohio; sister-in-law, Barbara & Bill Page of Vandalia; brother-in-law, Bud & Barbara Dinwoody of Tipp City, Ohio; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James E. Dinwoody, Sr. and son-in-law, Tom Jones.

A gathering of family and friends will be held 5-8 p.m. Tuesday August 26, 2008 at the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio. Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, New Carlisle. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Cemetery.
