James Edward McCormick, 69, of Springfield, went to be with his beloved Mother on April 19, 2008.

He was born in Springfield, Ohio on April 25, 1938, the son of Emil and Catherine (Kettlehake) McCormick.

He served for our country in the Army Reserves.

James is survived by his three sons; David J. (Jennifer) McCormick of Springfield, James D. McCormick of Missouri, and Paul Edward (Cindy Malone) McCormick of Springfield; nine grandchildren: Robert, Robin, Melissa, Katie, Rebecca, Draco and Zandra all of Springfield, J. D. and Nancy of Missouri; two step grandchildren; Ashley and Melanie both of Springfield, seven great grandchildren; Cody, Amanda, Brouke, Robert Jr., Deven, Misty and Caitlin all of Springfield.

Friends and family can come together to wish him a safe and beautiful passage to his mother from 6PM until 8 PM Thursday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME.
