Evangelist Doris H. Benton, 76, of Springfield, Ohio was called home to be with the Lord Sunday, November 9, 2008.

She was born August 24, 1932 in Avella, Pennsylvania a daughter of Hubert and Virginia Benton.

"Mother" Benton leaves to cherish her memory a daughter; ordained minister Brenda DeArmond, 7 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 12 great-great grandchildren and a special niece; Gloria Benton and a host of other relatives, friends and her church family.

Visitation will be Thursday from 6-7 P.M. in the Church of God M.P.G. of T, 1179 Rosedale Avenue. Funeral services will follow in the church at 7 P.M. Burial will be Friday 9 A.M.in Ferncliff Cemetery. Arrangements provided by the Robert C. Henry Funeral Home.
