The 11th Annual New Carlisle Parade of Planes was held October 4, 2008 along Main Street in New Carlisle. This years parade was named "The Rodney Jones Memorial Parade of Planes." Jones died in an accident on August 22, 2008.

New Carlisle was the first community in the nation to host a Parade of Planes
