Springfield High School Class of 1951

Jim Henthorne explains the Pythagorean Theory while Robert Masters, June Green, Joyce Addis, Jeanne Knick, John Gatwood and Beverly Goldman look on.

From the economy-wise housewife to the highly-skilled scientist, some form of mathematics is necessary. Here at SHS students can select many from a wide field of subjects — subjects that run from sophomore economics to Algebra 4 and trigonometry. Under the helpful supervision of our teachers many students learn what they will apply to their jobs, their own business, and even to teaching others.
